M6 Junction 28 – A49 Leyland

Junction 28 of the M6 is where the M6 meets the A49, for Leyland. The nearest town is Leyland, about 0.9 miles to the west, with Chorley (3 miles south-east) and Penwortham (4 miles north-west) also close by. Villages right beside the junction include Clayton-le-Woods, Buckshaw Village and Clayton Green.

Roads that meet at or beside this junction: A49, A5083, B5248, B5254, B5256. The main road at the junction is the A49.
