Junction 17 of the M6 is where the M6 meets the A534, for Sandbach / Crewe. The nearest town is Sandbach, about 0.9 miles to the south-west, with Alsager (4 miles south-east) and Middlewich (5 miles north-west) also close by. Villages right beside the junction include Wheelock and Hassall Green.
