M6 Junction 27: Shevington Interchange – A5209 Standish

Junction 27 of the M6, known as the Shevington Interchange, is where the M6 meets the A5209, for Standish / Shevington. The nearest town is Wigan, about 3.9 miles to the south-east, with Skelmersdale (4 miles south-west) and Chorley (5 miles north-east) also close by. Villages right beside the junction include Standish, Shevington and Appley Bridge.

Roads that meet at or beside this junction: A49, A5209, B5206, B5250, B5375. The main road at the junction is the A5209.
