M6 Junction 24: Ashton Interchange – A58 Ashton-in-Makerfield

Junction 24 of the M6, known as the Ashton Interchange, is where the M6 meets the A58, for Ashton-in-Makerfield. The nearest town is Ashton-in-Makerfield, about 0.6 miles to the south-east, with Golborne (2 miles south-east) and Earlestown (3 miles south) also close by. Villages right beside the junction include Bryn, Downall Green and North Ashton.

Roads that meet at or beside this junction: A49, A58, A5062, B5207. The main road at the junction is the A58.

From here, the drive north to junction 25 (Bryn) is about 1.0 miles and the drive south to junction 23 (Haydock) is about 1.2 miles. Junction 24 is about 100 miles from the start of the M6 at junction 1 and 110 miles from the end at junction 45.
