M6 Junction 25: Bryn Interchange – A49 Bryn

Junction 25 of the M6, known as the Bryn Interchange, is where the M6 meets the A49, for Bryn / Wigan. The nearest town is Ashton-in-Makerfield, about 1.4 miles to the south-east, with Golborne (3 miles south-east) and Wigan (3 miles north) also close by. Villages right beside the junction include North Ashton, Bryn and Downall Green.

Roads that meet at or beside this junction: A49, B5207. The main road at the junction is the A49.

From here, the drive north to junction 26 (Orrell) is about 2.6 miles and the drive south to junction 24 (Ashton-in-Makerfield) is about 1.0 miles. Junction 25 is about 101 miles from the start of the M6 at junction 1 and 109 miles from the end at junction 45.
